Terms and Conditions for BDSM: Working with Kinky Clients
The purchase of BDSM: Working with Kinky Clients Course (the “Program”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions prior to completing your purchase. With your purchase you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Content
The content of the Program is owned by The Westland Academy of Clinical Sex Therapy (the “Company”), and is provided for informational and educational purposes only. The Company will use its best efforts to ensure the accuracy and currency of the content, but it is not intended for the content to be relied upon as professional or expert advice or opinions. You should make your own judgment on the applicability of the content to your practice and seek out supervision, opinions and recommendations for your specific circumstances before acting or omitting to act based on any content.
Disclaimer
The Program is intended for health care and mental health professionals, or students-in-training, with previous clinical training and experience. By accepting these Terms, you represent that you are a member of a professional association or licensing body, or a student attending an accredited institution, and that you agree to abide by any regulations or codes of ethics that may apply to you. Completion of this Program does not result in any professional certification or accreditation, and does not qualify you as a health care or mental health professional.
Use
You may read and use the materials and handouts/worksheets made available through the Program for your personal clinical use and not for any commercial purpose. Handouts/Worksheets will be available to download, but you may not download any of the materials or post, publish or share the materials on any other websites, forums, social media sites or other platforms.
Availability
Access to the Program and materials will be available for a 6 month period from your purchase date and will not be accessible after that time.
Payment
Payment for the Course must be made in full upon registration. Refunds will only be made, in the discretion of the Company, within two (2) weeks of your purchase of the Program upon receiving a request and reason for refund. After the initial two (2) weeks, no refunds will be made.
No Warranty
The Program and all materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Company expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. The Company makes no warranty that: (a) the Program or the materials will meet your requirements; (b) the Program or the materials will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis; (c) the results that may be obtained from the use of the Program or the materials will be accurate or reliable; or (d) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Program or in reliance on the materials will meet your expectations.
Right of Removal
The Company retains the right to refuse or remove access to the Program for any person who is found to be acting in a way that is considered unethical, abusive, racist, homophobic, or bullying towards the Company, other students and/or clients. The Company also retains the right to remove any individual found to be breaking the terms and conditions of the Program immediately and without refund.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Company, its officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damage including, but not limited to, loss of business, revenue, profits, use, data or other economic advantage, however it arises, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tortious action, or arising out of or in connection with the use or failure to use the Program or the materials.
